Job summary

Washakie County School Dist 1 in Worland, WY is seeking a part-time Student Lifeguard to promote a safe aquatic environment. You will enforce pool rules, assist with swimming lessons, monitor patron activity, and help maintain pool areas, locker rooms, classrooms and offices.

Responsibilities include first aid/CPR readiness, keeping records, and reporting pool chemistry. Must be at least 15 years old, have strong communication skills, interact well with all ages, and be able to lift over 50 lbs.

Description

Provide a safe environment and enforce guidelines established by the facility for patron use and assigned activities. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, classroom, and offices. Daily monitor and record information regarding pool chemistry.

Qualifications

• Must have a current certification in Lifeguarding First Aid/CPR or pass pre-requisite lifeguard testing and course.
