Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Denver is seeking a Part-Time Shift Lead Lifeguard for nights and weekends to ensure a safe, welcoming aquatic environment. You will lead assigned shifts, monitor pool operations, and support daily aquatics functions.

The role requires CPR, lifeguarding, first aid certifications, and at least one year of lifeguarding experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills to mentor staff and uphold YMCA policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned shifts as on-duty supervisor.
• Ensure coverage, break schedules, and rotation.
• Open/close procedures and shift changes.
• Monitor pool safety and enforce policies.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid if needed.
• Complete incident reports promptly.
