The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver is seeking a Lifeguard to safeguard the pool and provide exceptional service to members and guests. You will enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and support aquatic programs within a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Swim assessment required to verify swimming ability.
• Responsible, attentive, and eager to learn.
• CPR/AED, First Aid (or ability to obtain before hire).
• American Red Cross/YMCA Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain before hire).
• High customer relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant pool surveillance and enforce rules.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Respond quickly and confidently in emergencies.
• Educate participants on pool rules and safety procedures.
