Job summary

YMCA of Greenville is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to monitor the pool and aquatics area, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies. You will maintain a rescue-ready environment and provide excellent service to members and guests.

Certification in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid is required or obtained within 60 days of hire. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer care at the YMCA facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain rescue-ready surveillance of pool and aquatics area.
• Enforce pool rules and safety policies; administer first aid/CPR if needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Complete required reports and attend trainings/meetings.
• Assist in maintaining clean and safe pool deck and equipment.
