We are seeking opening shift, part-time Lifeguards to join our aquatics team at our client site in West Hartford, CT. Responsibilities include monitoring safety, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the aquatic facility.

Schedule: Up to 25 hrs/week, M-F 5:45am-11am, with potential weekend coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor safety and well-being of patrons.
• Enforce rules and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with facility maintenance such as folding towels, cleaning, and inspecting the environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification with CPR/AED and First Aid required.
• Meet HealthFitness standards.
• Dependable, alert, positive interaction skills, and customer service experience.
• Ability to use electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
• Pre-employment drug test required.

All lifeguards must pass a skill test including swimming and rescue techniques.

Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
