Job Description:

Mount Holyoke College's Athletics Department is seeking qualified Lifeguards to oversee the Kendall indoor pools during recreational hours, Fitness Swim programs, and summer conference hours. This is a temporary, part-time role with shifts in the afternoons, some evenings, and weekends. Cover letters are not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor chemical levels in pools
• Organize equipment
• Assist in pool cleaning
• Ensure safety of the pool area and users

Qualifications:

• Current certifications including American Red Cross Lifeguard training, first aid, and AED/CPR for the professional rescuer are required.

Background Checks:

Mount Holyoke College conducts background checks for all new hires to ensure a safe environment, including checks for CORI, SORI, credit history, and driver credentials.
