We have a part-time Lifeguard position available at our client site in Delhi Township, Ohio. The Lifeguard will monitor and ensure a safe and friendly environment for all aquatic facility members and guests.

You will work approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options:

• Mondays - Fridays 5:45 AM - 10:00 AM
• Mondays - Fridays 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Saturdays & Sundays 6:45 AM - 12:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring safety and well-being of patrons.
• Enforcing rules and responding to emergencies.
• Performing chemical testing and documenting results.
• Attending staff meetings and training.
• Maintaining the aquatic environment (e.g., cleaning, folding towels, inspecting facilities).
• Maintaining professionalism.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, and First Aid certifications.
• Dependable, alert, positive interaction with diverse age groups, and strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with member management systems and databases.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timekeeping systems.

All lifeguards must pass a basic skill test including:

• 500-yard swim.
• Active, Passive, and Submerged rescues.
• Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.
• Other techniques learned during training.

Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
