Job summary

Elite Sports Clubs is seeking dedicated Summer Lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at our outdoor pools. As a lifeguard, you'll monitor swimmers, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies while providing excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will have strong swimming skills, lifeguard and CPR certifications, and a commitment to safety. This position offers a competitive wage, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment.

Elite Sports Clubs is gearing up for a fun and active summer season, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Lifeguards. With our outdoor pool facilities, we offer a refreshing escape for families and individuals during the warm summer months. If you’re a strong swimmer with a passion for safety, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and pool activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to promote safety and prevent accidents
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing assistance and first aid as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to identify hazards and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Communicate effectively with pool patrons, providing information and assistance as needed
• Participate in training sessions and drills to maintain lifeguarding skills and readiness

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, Ellis & Associates)
• CPR/AED certification required
• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues and provide first aid in emergency situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patrons of all ages
• Reliable and responsible, with a commitment to safety and customer service
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred but not required
