Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas is seeking a Lifeguard to support the Recreation Department. The role focuses on maintaining a safe and clean pool and beach area while delivering excellent guest service and assisting with recreation equipment rentals.

Candidates must work outdoors in hot temperatures, stay focused on safety, and be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. The position pays $19.00 hourly with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• CPR/Lifeguard certification required.
• Superior swimming skills for rescue in pools.
• Friendly attitude and guest-service oriented.
• Outdoor work in varying hot/cold weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including afternoons, weekends and holidays.
• Good stamina to stand/walk long shifts and lift moderate weight.

Responsabilités

Summary

The Lifeguard is a support position to the Recreation Department. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean pool and beach environment. This person must be customer service oriented and be able to provide hotel information as well as assist with recreation rental equipment. The Lifeguard must be able to work in high temperatures outdoors and maintain focus while supervising pool guests for safety.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to: creating an exciting environment for guests, general cleaning of pool area, and other duties assigned by management.

The pay rate for this position is $19.00 hourly. This is the pay rate for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.
