Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a qualified Lifeguard for full-time hours split between three branches. Starting wage ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Must hold YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding and BLS/First Aid certifications; willingness to be trained if needed.

40 hours per week with comprehensive benefits and paid time off. Responsibilities include ensuring aquatic area safety, attending trainings, and maintaining a team-oriented, rescue-ready

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• Willing to be trained if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Rescue-ready at all times during shifts.

In search of:
