Job summary

YMCA of the North is seeking certified lifeguards for the Emma B. Howe Northtown Family YMCA in Coon Rapids, MN. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, a positive pool environment, and the benefit of a free YMCA membership.

Responsibilities include supervising the aquatics area, responding to emergencies, and supporting open swim, water exercise, and lap swimming while upholding YMCA safety policies.

Qualifications

• Current nationally accredited lifeguard certification.
• BLS/CPR + AED for the Professional Rescuer annually and First Aid certifications.
• Certification required within 45 days of hire: Oxygen Administration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the pool area to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies.
• Assist swimmers and communicate pool policies.
• Perform water rescue and first aid as needed and complete incident reports.
