Job summary

YMCA of the North in Andover, MN is seeking Certified Lifeguards for our Andover location. The role offers a $16.50 per hour rate with a flexible schedule, including early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15.
• Current nationally accredited lifeguard certification.
• Current BLS/CPR + AED for the Professional Rescuer annually and First Aid certifications.
• Certification required within 45 days of hire: Oxygen Administration.
• Physically capable of all lifeguard skills.
• Ability to observe and respond to distress and hazards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool activities to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies.
• Assist swimmers and enforce pool rules.
• Maintain surveillance and follow emergency procedures.
• Document incidents and complete reports when needed.
• Coordinate with Aquatics staff and adhere to YMCA policies.
