Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking lifeguards aged 18+ to ensure pool safety and oversee aquatic activities. The role offers flexible opening shifts and rewards such as a Free YMCA membership, with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the community.

The ideal candidate has or can obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, loves water safety, and has strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants.
• Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool deck and aquatic areas.
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing.

What is needed for this job as our Lifeguard

• Age 18+
