Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to oversee indoor and outdoor pools, monitor safety, and assist with aquatics events. You will greet members, monitor deck safety, and assist with rescues and first aid as needed.

Qualified candidates should be lifeguard certified with StarGuardElite/BLS CPR and First Aid, and able to swim 300 yards and tread water. The role includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to work stationary and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Tread water for 1 minute.
• Swim and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from pool bottom to top without stopping.
• Must be able to bend to lift more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
