YMCA of Greater Cleveland is hiring a Lifeguard to ensure a safe swimming environment and positive member experience in the aquatics area. The role supports the organization’s mission of strengthening community through youth development and healthy living.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety rules, monitoring water quality, and documenting incidents while engaging with members in a friendly, professional manner.

Formación

• CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Hold current YMCA Lifeguard certification (or Red Cross Lifeguard with YMCA crossover within 90 days).
• WSI certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety of all participants in aquatics area at all times.
• Monitor chlorine, pH levels and water temperature.
• Attend in-service trainings and comply with YMCA policies.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor.
