Job summary

City of Cleburne seeks a supervisory lifeguard to assist in managing Splash Station operations, staff, and public safety. The role requires oversight of facilities, coordination with personnel, and excellent guest relations in an outdoor aquatic environment.

Applicants should have Lifeguard experience, supervisory background, and relevant certifications. A valid Texas driver's license and WSI/LGI/CPO or Food Manager credentials are advantageous; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; and 2+ years Lifeguard experience and 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Must have valid Class C Texas driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have Lifeguard Certification or obtain within 60 days.
• Must have LGI certification or obtain within 120 days of hire and maintain.
• Must be certified Food Manager or obtain within 120 days.
• Water Safety Instructor Certification preferred.
• CPO or Aquatic Facility Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing Splash Station facility, employees, and patrons.
• Maintain safety and ensure amenities are operational.
• Oversee maintenance and operations within the supervised area.
• Respond to citizen complaints and coordinate with staff as needed.
