Job summary

CCMC Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment for members and guests. The role includes greeting guests, monitoring activity, and assisting with pool maintenance and aquatics programs.

Qualifications

• AED/CPR Certified.
• Current Lifeguard Certification through the American Red Cross, USLA, or ALA.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides a welcoming greeting to members and guests when they enter the aquatics area.
• Monitors guest activity within the aquatics environment to ensure a safe setting at all times.
• Assists with maintaining a clean and safe pool environment to meet health codes and facility standards.
• Performs cleaning and preventative maintenance of aquatics equipment, heaters, and pool surfaces per policy.
• Provides aquatics services including teaching swimming lessons and supervising group activities.
• Demonstrates professionalism aligned with the facility’s values and standards.
• Performs other duties as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.

Education
