Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a lifeguard for pool supervision and safety. You will monitor patrons, respond to emergencies, and ensure water quality and equipment operation.

The role emphasizes professional conduct, strong customer service, and adherence to safety regulations. Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid is required, with CCBC providing certain training as needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator certification required.
• Lifeguard CPR & First Aid certification or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Maintain constant pool surveillance and ensure patron safety.
• Provide immediate emergency care when needed until EMS arrival.
• Test and adjust water chemistry and interpret gauges.
• Maintain pool equipment and preventive maintenance logs.
• Enforce pool rules and safety procedures.
• Prepare health and incident reports and manage identification forms.
• Deliver high-level customer service to patrons and staff.
• Inspect pool area for unsafe conditions and report to supervisor.
• Oversee access control and health, incident, and waiver forms.
• Support daily operations and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Assist with pool maintenance and safety compliance as assigned.
• Provide consistent and professional service to all patrons.
