Job Description - Entry Level Lifeguard

Full Time:

1. 20 Hours or more
2. Set work schedule, with changes quarterly to accommodate class schedules if needed

Requirements:

1. Ability to work with children
2. Previous swimming experience but not required (We will train the right candidate!)
3. Must be willing to work in the water for 3-4 hours on some shifts
4. Must be able to work 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday- 4-hour shift) and some evenings (until 7:30)
5. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
6. Must pass background checks (included with training)
7. MUST WANT TO HAVE FUN!
8. Ellis Lifeguard Certification is required within the first 90 days of hire. (We provide In-House certification)

Summary:

Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on a thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Certificates and Licenses:

Training available on site. Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire. Shallow water attendant highly recommended.
