Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an attentive position in the pool area at all times by walking and/or sitting while actively scanning the pool and pool area.
2. Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or casualties, make rescues, and administer first aid/CPR when necessary.
3. Provide assistance to students and teachers as needed.
4. Inspect the pool area and lobby for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues, and report problems to management.
5. Participate in training and in-service sessions as required.
6. Assist children to the restroom when needed.

Certificates and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required.

Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. The noise level is usually moderate.
