The Lifeguard at the Greenbelt Aquatic & Fitness Center is responsible for overseeing the safety of pool patrons while swimming and utilizing the pool area. Lifeguards maintain order, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and assist with facility upkeep to ensure a safe and clean swimming environment.

Work is performed indoors and outdoors at the Greenbelt Aquatic & Fitness Center, in and around swimming pools and mechanical areas. Work requires exposure to water, chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
