The Chester Family YMCA is seeking enthusiastic community members for part-time positions to help ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards. The position starts at $14 per hour.

DUTIES

Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of members and program participants.

QUALIFICATIONS

Lifeguards must be at least 15 years old and hold current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required. The Y offers training for candidates who meet basic swim requirements but are not yet certified.
