Job Opening: Part-Time Swim Instructor

Location: YMCA of Greater Richmond | Chester, VA 23836

The Chester Family YMCA is seeking enthusiastic and energetic part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. This position offers a starting pay of $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

1. Teach swimming skills and water safety to small groups of students.
2. Use a variety of teaching tools and techniques.
3. Promote YMCA core values during instruction.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Preferred certifications include YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Ellis & YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor, or WSI, but not mandatory as certification can be provided.
