Austin Country Club is excited to offer a part-time Lifeguard position. The ideal candidate will excel in a hospitality environment and focus on providing excellent service.

Pay Range: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure safety.
• Administer first aid for minor injuries such as cuts and bruises.
• Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.
• Assist in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons as directed.
• Enforce rules of conduct.
• Perform pool maintenance, including checking chemicals and vacuuming.
• Check and report on first aid supplies.
• Organize and monitor pool games; suggest poolside activities.
• Skim debris from the pool surface and clean the area daily.
• Maintain records as required.
• Follow safe work practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least two years of lifeguarding experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety/Instructor certifications.

Other Qualifications:

• Reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and health codes.
