Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and pool activities to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Respond to minor injuries and medical situations using approved first aid procedures.
• Support general cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, bathrooms, and pool facilities.
• Assist with swim clinics and private lessons as scheduled.
• Apply pool rules and conduct guidelines with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Perform basic pool maintenance, including chemical checks and vacuuming, as assigned.
• Reviews first aid supplies and requests replenishment when needed.
• Help organize and supervise pool activities and games.
• Removes debris from the pool surface and surrounding areas as needed.
• Maintains required records in accordance with departmental guidelines.

Maintains required records in accordance with departmental guidelines.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience preferred.

Current CPR, First Aid, and applicable Water Safety/Instructor Certifications required.
