Job summary

Sylvania in Kemmerer, Wyoming is seeking a dedicated part-time Pool Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all pool guests and provide friendly service.

You will monitor activities, enforce rules, respond to emergencies with rescues and first aid, and perform regular water quality and equipment checks.

This role requires a minimum age of 16 and a valid lifeguard certification; weekend and holiday availability is preferred, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and hold a lifeguard certification.
• Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues and administer first aid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in emergencies.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous lifeguard experience is preferred but not required.
