Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking candidates for its Leadership Development Program in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. The program provides onboarding, technical and professional leadership training, and rotations within the Lifecycle Services Business Unit.

You will gain experience across Rockwell products and technologies, participate in classroom training, mentoring, and career planning, and interact with leaders while supporting connected enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting assistance by phone, email and remote access for Rockwell Automation products and technologies to field personnel, distributors, integrators, and customers.
• Identify and correct failures, firmware problems and programming deficiencies, and implement hardware/firmware updates and upgrades.
• Instruct/train customers on proper use, operation, and maintenance of Rockwell Automation products.
• Respond to customer needs with swift, quality responses, maintaining communication with team and customer.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical assistance for sales presentations to customers.
• Consult regarding applications of products, technologies, manufacturing processes and industry-specific applications.
• Build collaborative relationships and embrace Rockwell culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

As an associate on the Managed Support Services team, you will... Gain experience in technical and leadership competencies through classroom training, mentoring, career planning and networking. Additionally, you will have a high level of interaction with Rockwell Automation's leaders. Work with industrial automation technology that is developed within Rockwell Automation's major business segments to support The Connected Enterprise. This may include software for automation, programmable automation controllers, intelligent motor control, machine safety, process control, industrial security, cloud computing, industrial Ethernet, motion control, industrial components, variable-frequency drives, and more. Your Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting assistance by phone, email and remote access for Rockwell Automation products and technologies to Rockwell Automation field service personnel, distributors, integrators, and customers.
• Identify and correct failures, firmware problems and programming deficiencies, and the implementation of hardware/firmware updates and upgrades.

• Respond to customer needs, ensuring a swift and quality response while keeping relevant parties informed, sets, and maintains communication with team and customer.

The Essentials - You Will Have

• Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• The ability to relocate every six months depending on opportunities and rotations.
• Graduated in the past two years with a technically focused degree.
• Met us through an event or interned with us in the past.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.2+ on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrated experience approaching challenges with innovative solutions.
• Experience collaborating with and leading peers and managers to achieve project goals with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• An interest in staying in Mayfield Heights, Ohio for 1-1.5 years (the duration of the program).
