Hudbay Minerals U.S. Business Unit is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Arizona project portfolio from scope through commissioning at the Copper World project near Tucson.

You will manage capital and operating projects, ensure operational readiness, and coordinate with contractors while upholding safety and regulatory standards. The role requires 3+ years in project management within construction, earthworks experience, and a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Technical, or Trades discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in project management, with construction experience, earthworks.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and grow a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong grasp of project management principles, procurement, scheduling, and SOPs.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the site.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership: Direct planning, scheduling, and execution of approved Capital and Operating Projects for Mine Operations.
• Contract & Financial Management: Manage budgets, procurement, bid evaluations, and contract terms.
• Construction & Field Management: Coordinate contractors, lead kick-off and safety reviews, ensure onboarding and audits.
• Audit & Compliance: Oversee quality control, regulatory compliance, and contractor performance.
