Job description

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Rocket, you develop and execute strategic communication journeys that build lasting relationships with customers across every stage of their experience with Redfin and its portfolio of products, including Rent.com and ApartmentGuide.com. You combine data-driven insights with creative messaging to design multi-channel campaigns via email, SMS, push notifications, and direct mail that drive engagement and conversion. Your ability to balance analytical rigor with customer-centric thinking, collaborate across teams, and continuously optimize performance will directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth. You thrive in a fast-paced, adaptable environment where both strategy and hands-on execution matter equally, and you're passionate about embracing AI-forward practices to deliver exceptional experiences. This role is hybrid, based in the Redfin Seattle office two days per week.

About the role
  • Design and implement lifecycle communication journeys via email, SMS, push notifications, and direct mail targeting prospects and existing customers across Redfin's product suite, including homeownership and renter marketing campaigns
  • Build and refine customer segments using Iterable, leveraging audience insights to tailor strategies for maximum engagement and conversion across product areas such as homeownership marketing or renter marketing
  • Partner closely with product teams to build in-process nurturing journeys, ensuring all communication aligns with Rocket brand values and marketing goals
  • Collaborate with the Rocket brand team on copywriting, imagery, and design, then build out templates internally using Iterable's marketer-friendly platform with no coding required
  • Balance engagement growth while maintaining stable opt-out rates, monitoring performance metrics to inform continuous strategy adjustments and optimization
  • Develop testing roadmaps for optimization, scaling successful results to applicable journeys and campaigns while demonstrating adaptability to shifting priorities
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, focusing on customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Marketo, Salesforce, or comparable CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Strong proficiency in email marketing with ability to perform both strategic planning and hands‑on in‑platform execution
  • High adaptability, flexibility, and comfort navigating ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast‑moving environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • An AI‑minded approach to marketing and workflow optimization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience across push notifications, SMS, and direct mail campaign execution
  • Experience with audience segmentation and data analysis
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS, enabling faster template building and troubleshooting
  • Deep understanding of CAN‑SPAM, SMS compliance / TCPA laws, and email security sending protocols
  • Experience with FinTech or real estate industry products
