Job summary

Rocket is seeking a Digital Product Manager to own product strategy, roadmap, and feature definitions across the lifecycle, while mentoring peers and driving business value for each release.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to define strategy, go-to-market plans, and revenue analysis, while staying aligned with market trends, user research and product data to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in digital product management or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with digital product management, including leading digital marketing strategies, advanced UX/UI design, and managing complex software development projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior product managers.
  • Strong ability to define and drive product strategy and deliver against key performance metrics.
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, data analysts, and researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and iteratively improve the product vision and roadmap.
  • Evangelize a common understanding of the product vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product strategy, go-to-market strategy, and revenue analysis.
  • Anticipate user needs through market trends, user research and product data evaluation.
  • Maintain a healthy feature backlog to ensure continuous value delivery.
  • Translate business and technical investment decisions into features.
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are met prior to launch.
  • Define FRs and NFRs to enable intuitive user experiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope work for features, epics or programs.
  • Integrate product data and client feedback into requirements.
  • Conduct trade-off analyses and prioritize debt and client requests.
  • Monitor feature progress, risks and scope to anticipate issues.
  • Support onboarding and growth of team members and promote best practices.

As the Digital Product Manager, you are recognized as an expert by the teams you work with and act as a mentor to peers. You own the success of software products by setting the strategy, roadmap and feature definition for all phases of its lifecycle. You combine competitive market research with business goals of the client to illustrate a product vision. You also define the business hypotheses and key performance indicators to measure product success and ensure delivery of business value for each iteration of a product release. As a Digital Product Manager, you are responsible for elevating product team performance and have demonstrated your ability to mentor and drive product performance and processes at a higher caliber.

  • Develop, maintain and iteratively improve the product vision and roadmap, ensuring that solutions achieve desired outcomes
  • Evangelize a common understanding of the product vision and roadmap
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product's strategy, go-to-market strategy, competitive analysis and revenue analysis
  • Anticipate user needs and wants through market trends, user research and product data evaluation
  • Maintain a healthy feature backlog to support a continuous flow of value
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and technical investment decisions into features
  • Ensure that acceptance criteria are met prior to launch
  • Enable an intuitive user experience through functional requirements (FRs) and non-functional requirements (NFRs)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope of work for features, epics or programs
  • Integrate product data, stakeholder ideas and client feedback into requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct trade-off analyses and inform priority of technical debt, technical investment work and client requests
  • Actively monitor feature progress, risks and scope to anticipate and mitigate issues
  • Collaborate with leadership to support team member onboarding and growth
  • Collaborate with leadership to define product management best practices and processes
About you

Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience in digital product management or a related field Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline) Demonstrated experience with digital product management, including leading digital marketing strategies, advanced UX/UI design, and managing complex software development projects Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior product managers Demonstrated ability to define and drive product strategy, and to deliver against key performance metrics Strong experience collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, data analysts, and researchers. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the fintech industry

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $90,000.00-$216,500.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
