Job description

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will be responsible for operating our email and push notification programs-delivering the right message to the right user at the right time. This role is critical to scaling personalized, impactful communication that deepens user engagement and drives revenue. You'll be solving for how to keep our diverse collector base informed, inspired, and coming back. You'll have the opportunity to immediately make an impact by deploying campaigns via Braze, while also shaping long-term customer journeys. This is a high-impact role with room to grow : we're looking for someone who's eager to learn, quick to take initiative, and excited to build a deep understanding of our users. You'll help us scale our communications while gaining exposure to cross-functional strategy, analytics, and 'll be part of the Growth & Lifecycle Marketing team at Artsy, which is focused on increasing user engagement, retention, and revenue through experimentation, segmentation, and full-funnel strategy. This team operates with speed, creativity, and data-informed decision making. Reporting to the Associate Director, Growth & Lifecycle Marketing, you will work closely with Brand, Content, and Product teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to Lifecycle Marketing across the user journey.This is a full time hybrid role, with office attendance required 2 days / week. This role is based in our NYC office.What You'll Do at Artsy : Build and send email and push notification campaigns in Braze.Help set up and QA automated user journeys triggered by behavior or milestones.Support performance analysis and reporting to improve campaign effectiveness.Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to ensure messages are on-brand and timely.Conduct user research and competitive audits to inform new lifecycle ideas.Manage calendars and documentation to keep campaigns running smoothly.This role is a fit for you if : You're in the earlier stages of your marketing career and bring hands-on experience-perhaps in CRM, growth, or email marketing-and are eager to grow your lifecycle marketing expertise.You're familiar with tools like Braze, Iterable, or another customer messaging platform-or excited to learn quickly.You're curious about user behavior and want to understand what makes people click, convert, and come back.You're organized, detail-oriented, and love checking things off a list.You take feedback well and are excited to grow into a more strategic contributor.Experience working in a two-sided marketplace, luxury, eCommerce, or startup environment-but we're open to diverse backgrounds if you bring a strong grasp of customer engagement and lifecycle marketing principles.You are currently authorized to live and work in NYCThis role will be based in NYC This role is unlikely to be a good match if you....Struggle to work independently and make fast decisions in a fast-paced environment.Prefer to work on one large campaign at a time rather than juggling multiple
