Job summary

Varo Bank is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own onboarding, engagement, retention, and resurrection programs. You will design data-driven journeys across email, push, SMS, content cards, and in-app messaging, driving key metrics like activation, retention, and cross-sell.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Data to build scalable programs, write copy, create assets, and run experiments.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on lifecycle/retention/engagement marketing experience.
• CRM & Campaign Execution with Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Hands-on builder mentality: copywriting, QA, and asset creation (Figma a plus).
• Product collaboration: align marketing with product experiments and roadmap priorities.
• Segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle journey design.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Experimentation: design A/B tests and manage roadmaps tied to outcomes.
• Data tools: Tableau, Amplitude, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle programs from ideation to execution, including briefing, QA, launch, optimization, and reporting.
• Build and launch automated, personalized cross-channel campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app surfaces.
• Create campaign assets and write copy, collaborating with design when needed.
• Set up and manage complex lifecycle journeys, triggers, and automations in CRM platforms.
• Design and run A/B tests, establish test/control groups, and document results.
• Analyze performance with tools like Tableau or Amplitude and translate insights into improvements.
