Job summary

TalkingParents is hiring a Product Lifecycle Manager to move ideas to clear, actionable decisions onsite in Northwest Florida. You will bridge Product, Engineering, and leadership to ensure clarity, readiness, and alignment before development progresses.

The role requires evaluating tradeoffs, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and guiding cross-functional teams through ambiguity toward practical next steps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software product lifecycle management or related cross-functional software role.
• Technical fluency in modern B2C SaaS environments.
• Ability to clarify requirements, evaluate feasibility, surface risks with engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience working across product, engineering, operations, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support product initiatives through evaluation, validation, definition, readiness, release, and post-launch follow-up.
• Track initiative status, open questions, decisions, dependencies, risks, ownership, and readiness concerns.
• Review product documents, scope materials, requirements, release notes, and stakeholder communications for clarity and completeness.
• Help leadership clarify objectives, assumptions, scope boundaries, and success criteria.
• Identify unclear scope, missing information, unresolved questions, and ownership gaps before issues arise.
• Ensure lifecycle documentation clearly captures scope, risks, decisions, and future considerations.
• Serve as a bridge between Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Marketing, Operations, and leadership.
• Translate product and business context for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ask direct questions to surface risks, tradeoffs, feasibility, and customer impact.
