Job summary

Life Time in Irvine, California is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join a health-minded team in a fast-paced café environment. You will prepare menu items from recipes, ensure food safety, and support the sandwich and salad stations to keep service flowing smoothly.

You'll follow recipes for consistency and quality, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help stock supplies while meeting daily operational needs. ServSafe and CPR/AED certifications are required within set timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification within first 30 days of hire.
• ServSafe certification required within first 90 days of hire.
• Experience in restaurant fast casual or full service preferred.
• Ability to lift >20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes.
• Manages the flow of food production with sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience

Experience prepping recipes

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $18.75 and pays up to $22.25, based on experience and qualifications.
