Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join a health-minded team in a fast-paced Bistro environment in Naperville, IL. You will prepare items according to recipes, maintain cleanliness, and follow food safety guidelines.

You will work with teammates to manage food production flow around sandwich and salad stations, ensuring freshness and quality in every serving. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and timely execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification within first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification within first 30 days of hire.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience

Experience prepping recipes

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.75 and pays up to $21.25, based on experience and qualifications.
