Job summary

Life Time Inc. is hiring a Restaurant Cook to work with health-minded teammates in a fast-paced setting, preparing menu items per recipes while following food safety guidelines.

The role focuses on coordinating with sandwich and salad stations and maintaining cleanliness across the Bistro and LifeCafe areas, serving members with quality, timely meals. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift over 20 lbs, and ability to stay mobile in a cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time.
• ServSafe certification within the first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and washing dishes.
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food.

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and following food safety guidelines.

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $18.75 and pays up to $22.25, based on experience and qualifications.
