Job description

*100% Remote - Cannot reside in California, New York, or Colorado*

Job Description:

1. Complete given cases/assignments
2. Order an exam and identify the total risk
3. Experience reviewing prescription history and medical records
4. Screen medication data for life insurance applications
5. Analyze high-risk medications
6. Assess adverse health information related to risk classification
7. Screen life insurance applications for standard and substandard risks
8. Evaluate health information for add-ons and reinstatements
9. Report and interpret MIB code data
10. Identify medical terminology in all duties

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. 2-5+ years of Life Underwriter experience
2. Experience with signing authorities over $100k
3. Experience using underwriting manuals and tools
4. Experience with fully underwritten products (not automated)

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.03 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply, and benefits may include:
