Qualifications

• Life Skills programming experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience.
• Outstanding record of student achievement results.
• Hold a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification.
• Hold a valid Texas Educator Certification in Core Content.

Responsibilities

• Develop rigorous Life Skills lessons using alternate curriculum and inclusive practices.
• Set ambitious goals, monitor progress, and provide consistent feedback to students.
• Write accurate, data-driven IEPs and update progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with families via phone, video, or email.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and content teams to implement lessons.
• Complete supervision duties and ensure student safety on campus.
