Jubilee Academies is seeking a Life Skills Special Education Teacher to provide instruction designed to support the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of students with special needs. The role involves developing or modifying curricula, preparing lessons, and working across self-contained and itinerant capacities as assigned.

The position requires a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements and a bachelor's degree, with a focus on implementing IEP goals through ARD

Formación

• Must possess knowledge of special needs of students in assigned area.
• ARD/IEP process and IEP goal setting process implementation.
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEP through ARD.
• Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development program for students.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials.
• Modify regular curricula as needed and assist students in regular classes.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings regularly.
• Conduct assessments of student learning styles to plan activities.
• Present subject matter according to IEP guidelines.
• Use various instructional techniques and media to meet diverse needs.
