Job summary

Snohomish School District is seeking a paraeducator to assist with individualized and small group instruction for students with physical, behavioral, or medical needs. You will help students access education through academic support, behavior management, and fostering independence.

Responsibilities include collaboration with teachers to implement accommodations and strategies, working with Life Skills students, and adhering to district schedules and requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet one: ParaPro score, Pearson/Master Teacher qualifying score, or related certification.
• Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or 72 qtr credits / 48 sem credits at 100-level+.
• Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individualized and small group instruction for students with diverse needs.
• Provide academic support, behavior management, and promote independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement accommodations and strategies.
