Ikuslife in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a CLS Life Skills Mentor to support individuals with disabilities in developing independent living skills and community engagement. Both part-time and full-time hourly roles are available, with starting pay referenced in the job listing.

No prior experience is required; paid training and ongoing support are provided. You will work in groups, plan personalized goals, and help participants gain confidence and community connections.

• Flexible schedule and ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with individuals and their families.
• Support individuals in developing life skills to increase independence and quality of life.
• Assist individuals in working toward goals identified through planning.
• Encourage community involvement and participation in meaningful activities.
• Follow supervision guidelines and implement plans as directed.
• Safely transport individuals to and from activities using personal vehicle.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assist with personal care needs as needed.
• Serve as a positive role model, advocate, and mentor.
