Job summary

Hope Network West Michigan is seeking a Life Skills Coach to empower individuals to live more independently by building daily living skills, confidence, and community connections. You will work across home, community, and facility settings to provide hands-on support and model positive behaviors that promote independence.

Ideal candidates bring compassionate communication, reliability, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Encourage positive relationship building.
• Transportation and participation in community activities.
• Personal care/Assistance with activities of daily living.
• Provide Community Living Supports (CLS) in various settings (community, consumer's home, or facility).
• Role modeling and training appropriate behavior to increase independence.
