Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Paraprofessional (Instructional) Life Skills to support students at Coulston Elementary. The role involves personal care, health-related tasks, and collaboration with teachers to implement IEP accommodations.

Requirements include a high school diploma and qualifying criteria such as college credits, the CDA credential, or ParaPathways. Training opportunities will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High school diploma.
• Must be highly qualified by meeting one of the listed criteria.
• Two years of college experience or an equivalent credential.
• CPR and CPI certifications or ability to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care/assistance to the student per the IHP.
• Monitor accommodations for the student in general education settings.
• Assist in developing/presenting learning materials and exercises.
• Administer tests with appropriate accommodations per the IEP.
• Participate in tutoring for the student when indicated.
• Maintain daily logs on the student when requested.
• Help students master instructional equipment and materials.
• Attend professional development and implement new practices.

Education

High school diploma

Two years of college experience

Completed 48 credit hours

Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

1,000 hours of school/child experience
