Job summary

Lane Education Service District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for the Life Skills Pool on a part-time basis in Oregon. The role provides instructional, behavioral, and daily living support to students with disabilities under a licensed teacher’s direction.

Hours are 3.5 per day, 0.4375 FTE, and a salary range of $20.89–$27.05 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson planning, data collection, and implementing behavior support plans while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to follow teacher direction and plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and assist the classroom teacher with planning and implementing activities.
• Assist with strategies to reinforce instructional material and student skill development.
• Support students in developing functional, communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Assist with daily living needs and personal care activities as required by student plans.
• Collect student data and communicate progress to the classroom teacher.
• Support behavior and social-emotional needs following the student plan.
