Compass Behavioral Group in Norfolk is seeking a Life Skills Counselor (QMHP or QMHP-Trainee) to provide direct, in-home and community-based mental health skill-building services to adults with serious mental illness.

You will focus on daily living, social and coping skills, tailor interventions to meet treatment plans, provide psychoeducation, and maintain accurate documentation using our streamlined tools.

Qualifications

• QMHP or QMHP-Trainee with the Board of Counseling.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Driver’s license with 1+ years of driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct in-home and community-based mental health skill-building services to adults with serious mental illness.
• Improve daily living, social, and coping skills to promote independence.
• Tailor interventions to meet treatment plans and client needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to empower clients and support goals.
