Job summary

You will conduct assessments, provide therapy and crisis intervention, collaborate with families and teams, and ensure compliant documentation. A compassionate, ethical practitioner with Virginia QMHP eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience in community mental health or direct care settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop service plans.
• Provide direct therapy, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Monitor client progress and document outcomes per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per DBHDS/Medicaid guidelines.
• Facilitate individual or group therapy sessions as needed.
• Participate in treatment planning and quality improvement activities.
