Job summary

Work INC. in Brockton, MA is seeking a Community Training Specialist (Direct Support Staff) to assist individuals with disabilities in promoting independence and quality of life. This role can be full- or part-time with flexible scheduling and travel up to 25%.

You will support clients in residential programs, help with daily activities and health care access, and build strong relationships with families and providers. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• High School diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with completing personal hygiene and developing independence, responsibility, and self-worth.
• Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans, and treatment plans.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and service providers.
• Help clients obtain appropriate health care services and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Facilitate participation in outdoor activities such as movies, dining, parks, and beaches.
