Southeastern Directions for Life in Sioux Falls is seeking a Community Life Facilitator to support adults with developmental disabilities in our Education & Integration Adult Day Program. You’ll teach self-care, social, vocational and communication skills, and work closely with families to sustain positive relationships.

The role requires flexibility for emergencies and holidays; you will participate in team meetings, program planning, data collection, and monthly reports to ensure a safe,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and driving record acceptable to the insurer.
• Pass a comprehensive criminal background check including fingerprinting and multiple checks.

Responsabilités

• Provide services to adults with developmental disabilities and teach self-care, social, vocational, independent living, and communication skills.
• Communicate with families to maintain positive relationships between the people we support and their relatives.
• Advocate for the people we support to communicate needs, self-expression, and goals.
• Provide safe, clean community interactions conducive to learning.
• Attend team meetings, program writing, assessments, data, monthly reports, I-Pops, and PCT tools.
• Flexibility for emergencies, inclement weather, and holiday work as required.
