Spread Your Wings, LLC. is hiring an Independent Living - Life Skills Coach to work in the San Jose area, providing direct skill-building support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes field-based coaching with a Monday–Friday schedule, 10am–7pm, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Coach clients on building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene).
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules for clients.
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports, spending 90% of time in the field with clients and 10% on admin/documentation.
• Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.
