Job summary

Bridgeway is hiring for a full-time position in North Pekin, IL. The role involves direct support and on-site training to assist individuals with daily living activities and rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include personal care, documentation, and coordinating with the care team. DSP/CNA/EMT experience is a plus; CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable through Bridgeway. Background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) experience is a plus.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification offered by Bridgeway, and complete the DSP credential and medication training.
• If licensed, maintain license requirements.
• Employment contingent on successful background checks.

• Develop cognitive, emotional, and life functioning abilities for rehabilitation and positive impact.

• Attend to personal care needs, such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, grooming etc.
• Ensure communication with supervisor and other team members are clear, concise and honest.
• Complete progress notes, goal reports and other clinical documentation by assigned deadlines.
• Being aware of and confident in dealing with medical and emergent needs e.g. seizures, health concerns, allergies fires, server weather, etc.
• Help to develop cognitive, emotional and life functioning abilities of each consumer for the purpose of rehabilitation and to positivity impact their lives.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, valid driver license, driving history that meets company's insurability and reliable transportation. Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) or similar experience a plus! Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification offered through Bridgeway, along with successfully passing the Direct Support Person (DSP) credential and Medication training program. If licensed, required to maintain license requirements. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
